After Amsterdam and the state of the UK meta

Ciao a tutti!
First of all - it was a ton of fun - for those of you who will read this and you haven't been to the tournament: you have to go next year! The dutch team was awesome - they were the perfect host - they went through a ton of effort to let us have maximum fun! Thank you Menno, Connie, Don, Thys, Remko and everybody else Also I really enjoyed the Friday/Saturday at the bar with all the thrones players and after this weekend there are a few more people I can call friends: will definitely come back!

On a more serious comment: I think "team UK" did quite well - we had 2 players making the cut and 3 more (bambi/tom/dave) missing the cut by strength of schedule - with Bambi particularly unlucky as it is the 2nd big tournament in a row that this happens to him.

Maybe...just maybe...blackwater bay will be won by someone from our meta...I'm asking my fellow throne comrades: how can we make this happen? I strongly believe we should meet more often as this will increase our chances

On behalf of everyone who wasn't able to go, more tourney reports please! Don't have to be round by round (though I'm expecting that from Jack at least :p), but just general summations of what went on would be great!

Ha! The way I played and with deck I used, that's not going to be an insightful read. Unless you want insight into how to lose at Thrones...

With the best will in the world, I don't love your TRs for their insight. If there is some it doesn't hurt of course, but it's not the main attraction. That's like worrying about porn with this hot actor/acrtress in because you're worried the script is contrived.
